The best of old and new! At Central, our worship is a blended service, mixing elements of classic worship with contemporary touches. We share our joys and concerns, listen to a thoughtful message, and renew our spirits.
Make a joyful noise! Central loves music. We are blessed with talented members who play instruments and lead us in song — from praise songs to old beloved hymns. We hand out rhythm instruments so everyone can add to the celebration.
A great space. We hold our worship services in the second floor auditorium at Collingwood Presbyterian Church on the corner of Collingwood Blvd. and Floyd Street in the Old West End.
The auditorium has been completely renovated with a new stage and sound system. Also known as Lincoln Hall, it is fully accessible for people with physical disabilities. We use Powerpoint slides to display songs and other visuals on a state-of-the-art projection system. (We also use this system for movie nights.)
Children welcome! We have a relaxed worship service, and children are encouraged to participate. There is a children’s message each week. Also, childcare is available for children 4 years and younger during worship.
